Taskio tasks are organized and managed in a manner similar to files and directories in a file system. This allows the user to nest tasks to an unlimited degree, thus providing maximum flexibility for designing projects of any level of complexity.

Quick data entry - list now, add details later

Adding a new task in Taskio is a snap! Just type the task name, press a button, and the new task is created with no up-front need to configure numerous details. Tasks can be created in the appropriate location in the project hierarchy or moved there later using simple drag-and-drop functionality.

Sync across multiple machines

Taskio gives you access to your project from any location by automatically syncing your project data across multiple computers. Work locally when on the go, and sync to your ongoing project when you come online --Taskio will take care of the rest!

Keep an eye on the overall project end date

Taskio automatically propagates changes in task durations and progress throughout the project, updating its overall duration and status accordingly. The project end date is dynamically updated as tasks are completed or their durations modified. With Taskio, your project's estimated completion date will seem far less elusive.

Compare progress against defined calendar milestones

Taskio allows you to track your progress from the start of the project against your milestones based on estimated task durations. If you change your mind on a task priority mid way through the project, Taskio will adjust with you while continuing to provide insight into your completion date and estimated work remaining.

Automatically insert recurring tasks

Recurring tasks have always been a project manager's nightmare. How do you allocate the time and resources to tasks such as backing up servers? How do you visualize a team member's time allocation to tasks at hand in comparison to daily duties that take time away from the project? Taskio makes it easy to set up and track recurring tasks.

See a complete project timeline based on task durations

Taskio makes it easy to take a bird's eye view of your project with a Gantt chart-like display that shows the project timeline, task hierarchy, and individual task progress. Users can quickly see how their tasks are organized, task progress, and the anticipated project timeline based on current task settings.

Choose from multiple task views: tree, folder and list

The Taskio browser provides several task browser viewing options that users can select from depending on their preference. The tree view shows tasks and subtasks in a vertically nested manner, where as the column view expands tasks horizontally.

Work based on task priority (the whole top-to-bottom thing)

Users can quickly focus on high-priority tasks by using Taskio's priority-based display function which displays tasks in an expanded view according to their priority. This way, users don't have to navigate a complex task hierarchy to locate a critical task that needed to be finished yesterday.

Assign tasks to other users in your team

Taskio is designed to facilitate seamless collaboration among multiple users. Project owners can invite users to join the project and can assign tasks to exiting project members. Project updates are instantly synced and visible to all project members.

Add comments, and upload files to tasks

Individual tasks may require specific resources such as text documents or multimedia files. Taskio allows users to easily keep track of these resources by associating files of any type to individual tasks. These files are maintained in an internal Taskio repository and can be viewed and accessed by any member of the project.

See updates from other users

Taskio records all task modifications in the task's history so that you and other project members can keep track of exactly what was changed and when.
